- Squeeze and strain the Amla fruits through a sieve over a bowl or cup to extract the juice

- In a pan, mix one tablespoon of Amla powder with five tablespoons of oil
- Preheat the pan to the lowest heat setting and whisk from time to time for approximately 10 minutes, or until the mixture starts to boil lightly and smells good
- Keep an eye out for boiling over the next two to three minutes of cooking
- Once the heat is off, cover the pan
- Give the mixture at least a full day to settle
- Pour the mixture into a jar or container by straining it with a cloth or sieve
- For as long as required, apply the oil combination to the body or scalp, then wash it off.
